StarCaddy Course Maps are expertly drawn from satellite and aerial imagery. The imagery and maps are georeferenced and orthorectified to assure their correct alignment with the gps readings.

We have produced the maps for more than 30% of the 18,000+ U.S. golf courses listed on our site. For ALL of the courses listed, we have access to imagery and scorecard information required to make a map. Most of the imagery was photographed within the last 4 to 5 years and nearly all of it was done within the past 10 years.

We can usually produce a map for virtually any course listed on our website within 5 to 10 business days which is based on the demand for new maps. The current estimated creation time is 5 to 10 business days.

On occasion, our Quality Control process determines that the course has changed since the date of our most recent imagery. Should this happen on a course you requested, we will notify you of the delay and immediately begin a search for newer imagery. Your credit card will not be charged until the map is complete.
